- The compact, flexible Jaka Zu 7s is a 6-jointed robotic arm with a working radius of 819mm and a 7kg payload. It has an industrial force sensor which can be installed at its base or at its end. The result is remarkable accuracy, repeatability and safety.
- The force control algorithm gives Zu 7s an ability to ‘feel’ its environment and any surrounding forces. Fully making use of the ‘feeling’ data, a variety of force control options are available, including constant force, normal tracking and ‘speed mode’.
The in-built force control module means that any user can quickly and safely adjust the contact force. When an external force becomes greater than the designated security value, the cobot ceases to apply more force, ensuring safety in cases of collision, and precision in cases of application.
- JAKA Zu 7s, which can be mounted at any angle, without safety fences, is ideal for actions on complex surfaces, for inspection, fragile assembly or testing.

- The first: Force Sensor
The industrial force sensor in the Zu 7s, which may be installed at its base or at its end, lends it an ability to truly feel whatever it comes into contact with. After setting the contact value force via the JAKA app, the cobot will ensure that its interaction with other objects never exceeds that value.
- The Second Force Control Module
The amount of force applied by the cobot is easy to control via the JAKA app. Users may choose from constant force, normal tracking or speed mode, depending on the task the cobot needs to complete. In each case, when any external force becomes greater than the manually-set security value, the cobot accommodates.
